**A month ago I received a message from Google saying our business profile had been suspended. It did not give a reason, just said that conditions were violated. Nothing has changed with the website and it’s been running for several years always appearing at the top of Page 1 of search results, immediately after sponsored results**

What I’m trying to do
Trying to understand if the business profile is really disabled or if it is the duplicate profile that is disabled and also how to get my site back on page 1 of search results.
What I’ve tried so far
Searching around I found that my husband had created a second profile when he added the business to Google maps so I have deleted this. Then I also changed the business to a service area business as he had put an actual address. This was definitely a violation as we don’t own that address - it’s just the location where we meet people ( we are a ski school). Finally, I changed the email address for the account that manages the profile to my google account instead of his (so he couldn’t break it anymore ) . The next day I received an email saying the business profile is disabled because the business profile does not exist. I then sent an appeal, but it has been rejected. With hindsight, I don’t know if they have disabled the duplicate profile I deleted ( would I still get messages from them after deletion?) or if it pertains to the current profile. I can still see this if I search for the business by name, including our reviews etc so it appears to be there. However, we have more or less disappeared from Google search results (we used to be at the top of the search results on Page 1, immediately after all the sponsored results and now, one month on, we are lucky if we appear by page 4 on searches for Private Instructor, St Martin de Belleville or ski school St Martin de Belleville

Really need to get this sorted as winter and the ski season is upon us. Any help gratefully received. I have tried working through the Google buiness profile page and haave followed all the links to ‘fix the problem’, but because it doesn’t really specify the problem, I am unable to fix it.
