Hamburger icon won't disappear when menu rolls out

The hamburger icon stays visible when the menu opens. I have to place the X under the hamburger otherwise the X is visible above the hamburger. This is off-course hideous. How to solve it? I have tried to make a new menu all over again but the problem remains.

Any solutions? Thanks!

I tried to replicate the issue you are facing but was unable to do so.
However, it appears to me that the Hamburger Menu Icon maybe the topmost layer, which is why it remains even when the menu container is opened. To move the icon behind the Menu container,

  1. Right click on the Hamburger Menu Icon .

  2. From Arrange , select Send to Back .

  3. Open the Menu Container .

  4. Right click on the Menu Container .

  5. From Arrange , select Bring to Front . Do the same for the X icon, the vertical menu and all other items in your menu container.

This should hide the Hamburger Menu icon once the menu is opened.

Also, it would be great if you could share a link to your website and a screenshot of your Layers panel while the menu is closed, as well as when it is open.

If this dosen’t work, I’d recommend you create a new menu and see if you are still facing this issue.

Thanks, that is the solution, I could not send the hamburger Icon to the back, but after bringing the container, the X and and the menu to the front it worked as it should.
