Help with getting around vouchers please

As Wix doesnt have a vouchers app has anyone found a way around this? I was thinking of manually doing up vouchers myself and giving each one a different code and putting the code into the website for a one off use, so then the user just puts in the code at checkout and gets $100 or whatever amount the voucher was for off.

Only issue I can think of is that theyll only be able to use the voucher as a one off purchase and not spread the money over multiple purchases. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Is there a better way?

You are allowed to use capital letters, J. D. was referring to yourself typing it ALL in capitals etc.

Wix does do vouchers, it is already shown in the Wix Stores own support pages.

And no Wix don’t do vouchers/gift cards. The link you’ve attached is for coupons and also states in the link that Wix don’t do Vouchers/Gift Cards. I have contacted Wix and unfortunately they are unsure if/when they will.

My question was about the possibility of creating my own vouchers for customers and using the coupon/discount system into it so they can use the voucher and get the value of it taken off their order. I have since found more flaws in doing it this way though as the postage will not be taken off the amount which most gift cards do, and cannot use the same code for postage and item discount.

Okay you meant vouchers like gift cards and not vouchers like coupons that users can use on the website, my apologies as it seems I got my wires crossed there.

I doubt that Wix will do gift card types for any websites that get designed through it, they would only probably look at doing gift cards for Wix themselves which you could then use on a Wix Plan for example.

If you were looking to do a gift card type of voucher for your website, then you would have to look at doing something along the lines of what you have already described previously, with the use of a one time only code from the Coupon section on Wix.

I have asked for this feature which is common across other e-commerce/website platforms like Squarespace and Shopify. Can’t understand why Wix doesn’t allow this. If it doesn’t make one available, will mean having to move website. Seems crazy.
