I’m experiencing an issue where my homepage does not display a link preview when shared on Facebook Messenger or iMessage. All other pages on my site display link previews correctly.
I’ve done the following to investigate and rule out common causes:
• Confirmed the issue using the Facebook Sharing Debugger (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug), which shows a 500 response code when scraping my homepage, while the page loads normally for regular visitors in a browser
• Verified my Social Share (Open Graph) settings are correctly configured in the Wix editor, including an og:title and og:image
• Checked all Velo/Dev Mode code — Page Code, masterPage.js, Backend, Public, and Service Plugins are all completely empty
• Used the Wix AI Code Assistant to inspect backend files (data.js and http-functions.js) — it confirmed both files are empty and contain no code
• Checked Advanced SEO settings — no custom structured data markup, no Robots meta tag restrictions
• Republished the site — the issue persists
