Hi all, I’m trying to figure out automations for my CMS form in a Wix Studio site. I want to be able to set up an automation to send an email to the form submitter to give them a copy of their responses, as well as to the company’s email so that they can see and respond to the submission.
Under “Set Recipients”, I see an option to add someone in Contacts, so I was able to set up the automation to send a copy of the responses to the company email.
However, when I try to create another action to send an email to the form submitter, I don’t see any options under Set Recipients that allows me to send the email to an email address that was specified in the submitted form (aka to the person who submitted the form).
For some reason I don’t see any “Emails from trigger” option under Set Recipients. I checked under each of the options (Contacts, Collaborator roles, etc.) and I can’t seem to find an option under any of them either.
I’m confused because the original pre-made email template says “Thanks for Getting in Touch”, which means it’s intended to be sent to the form submitter. But there’s no option to actually select them as a recipient.
It seems to appear with the “Wix form submitted” trigger, as you showed in your screenshot, but not with “CMS form submitted”. Not sure if this is a bug or something?
Thank you so much, tried this and it worked perfectly! Appreciate the help, I looked through so many tutorials and none of them seemed to mention this step.
