I am trying to remove a lightbox which pops up on my site when visitors enter my site on a desktop. It doesn’t happen on a mobile.
This lightbox is not shown under the lightbox tab on the left side of the Wix editor.
What am I missing? I am a complete novice at this so any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the editor glitches out. This has happened to me before a handful of times (and I have built hundreds of Wix sites).
Go to the Lightboxes area and add a new lightbox. Save. Refresh the editor and suddenly all of the missing lightboxes will be visible in the editor menu again.
If it is a system generated lightbox (and not one you previously built) then post a screenshot so we can see what you are looking at.

I now have another problem with WIX.
I have been working on updating our website and have embedded a widget code onto every page of our website before the header bar!
I cannot find a way of removing it because it is not showing up on the editor ?!

For your new question about embedded code, you added code to your wix dashboard under the custom section via the settings —- instead of using the html embed element located inside of the editor.
