How do I remove the 'Google code' on the published website?

Hi all, I need your help!
I was playing around with the ‘Google code’ in development mode and somehow it ended up being published in the bottom of our website.
Unfortunately I can’t find the ‘Google code’ in development mode - which means I cant delete it and make i disapare from the published website.

What to do?

Have you tried search code within Dev mode, it’s the little search icon on the lefthand side under site structure. It’s worth checking that.

You might have added it to your custom code section. You can check there here:

  1. Go to Settings in your site’s dashboard.

  2. Click the Custom Code tab in the Advanced section.

  3. Click + Add Custom Code at the top right.

If there is no code in the code section of your website, you may have used the SEO tools to add a verification code? You can check here:

  1. Go to Marketing & SEO in your site’s dashboard.

  2. SEO Tools

  3. Site Verification, on the righthand side.

It was in the ‘custom code section’ I made the mistake and not in Dev mode.
