How do you colour text elements?

Hi there, am I going mad? Please take a look at my screen grab… I just can’t find how to colour the text.

Thank you Janet… I use a ton of editing software and YES it totally evaded me. Thank you.

I might make a suggestion to clarify this for others in the future. Add a bright color to the line located under the letter ‘A’ to indicate color. The line is black now and is easily overlooked.

For me finding how to change the color of the exto was easy. By hovering the cursor over the elements, information appears about what each element is, such as: bold, color, underline, etc.
But I missed the resources that the other editor already has, such as: giving creative effects to texts such as shadow, outline, etc.
