How do you set the background color for the dropdown menu on the blog page?

I have some colors in my site’s palette that I am not using (yet), so I deliberately set them to be horrible colors so that I don’t accidentally use them.

Today, i set up Wix’s blog feature, and I cannot figure out what is setting the […] overflow/dropdown menu background color on the main blog page. I’ve been through every design/menu/config for the blog, and I cannot find it.

I’ve grabbed a screenshot of the dropdown menu, and the CSS that is setting it. The class name is

.blog-dropdown-background-color

The same overflow menu on the actual post page (not the all-posts page) is not highlighter pen yellow. It’s just the overflow menu on the All Posts and Category landing pages.

If anyone knows how to set this, please let me know. I’m deliberately not fond of looking at highlighter pen yellow.

(I’ve tried 2 different browsers with the same result…Chrome and Firefox)

Thanks…

It should be something for Wix Forum Community : https://www.wix-forum-community.com/

At this moment, you cannot use Velo built in code editor to set the background of Wix forum menu.

Hope there is some workaround

Is forum an older name for the Wix Blog? I thought that was a different thing?? Should I re-post my question there? Is it likely to be brought to the attention of someone who could fix it?

Oh sorry, I messed up both. but for blog, still not possible: you can ask here: https://www.wix-blog-community.com/

Thanks. I just worked around it. I now have one palette entry that is reserved for “Things Wix defaults to that I cannot change”. The .htaccess/restricted area screen (or whatever Wix calls it) was also highlighter pen yellow. I hadn’t bothered fixing that, because the only person who sees that specific page is the site admin (me). It fortunately uses the same palette entry as the blog menu. Meh. Oh well…life could be worse.
