How to create gender parity in Wix Bookings

Hello,
for a specific Client requirement, I need to have 50% of the Max capacity of a Wix Booking Service (Class/Course) filled by men and 50% filled by women.

Ideally, I would like to configure 2 separate Max Capacities and have the user specify their gender before purchasing the service to decrease one or the other counter. However, apparently I can neither add a custom MaxCapacity field in the create service page, nor have a custom dropdown field “Sex” M/F on the purchase service page.

Alternatively, I thought about building this experience via Wix Events, with 2 separate ticket categories, but I would lose the possibility of managing my staff calendar.

Any idea? I am quite stuck.

I would really appreciate any hints on how to achieve this.

@matteo you need to go all custom, unfortunately :man_shrugging:

Wix apps are built for simple needs, and doesn’t allow you - most of the time - to expand the functionalities and the capabilities of your booking system the way you want it, they cannot build an app that serve all the possible needs.

If you’re willing to go custom, we’ll be glad to help you here on the forum with your journey, or you can hire a developer on the Marketplace .
