How to customise the store category pages?

What are you trying to achieve:
I’d like to customise the store category page (including category videos). I’d like a different page for each category with the relevant category products below.
What have you already tried:
You can’t just add a video field to the WIX store category database, it is not allowed. So I created a dynamic page with a new CMS for the categories.
I created a new dynamic page to show the categories (worked well) which links through to a dynamic page for each category. See here…

So it all works brilliantly however I can’t show the relevant category products underneath. I only want timber products in the timber section.
I know I could create a page for each category and that would work however there must be a more elegant solution that means i wouldn’t have to change 8 pages if I wanted to change the category page design.
Ideally I could just edit the WIX category page design however you can’t add videos.
Additional information:
I’ve looked at YouTube and forums but found nothing that seems to solve it.
Is it possible to set a filter for the WIX Grid gallery or even a new product repeater shows only the relevant products for that category.
I’m stumped by it.
