I have a question about customizing my eCommerce in Wix Studio, specifically in terms of SEO. I would like to uniquely design the category and product pages. However, when I select a specific page and add a new block, the changes are reflected on all categories or products, instead of being applied only to the selected page.
Is there any way to design each category or product page independently without affecting the others?
You can create a custom page using CMS product and category collection of the Wix Store App. Each of your pages can have a different design based on the category.
By default, Wix Studio uses dynamic pages for categories and products, which means the layout is shared across all items. That’s why any design changes reflect on every category or product.
If you want to customize pages individually, here are some options:
Option 1: Convert to Static Pages
You can create custom static pages for specific products or categories, but you’ll lose the automatic connection to your product database , so it’s better for standout items only.
Option 2: Add Conditional Design
Using custom code or conditional logic, you can show/hide specific blocks depending on the product or category. This lets you keep the dynamic structure but still apply unique styles per item.
If you’re comfortable with Velo (Wix’s dev tool), I’d recommend going that route for more flexibility. Otherwise, you may want to work with a Wix expert to help set that up smoothly.
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask more questions
