Is it possible for the admin/moderator to edit forum posts posted by site members? At present, I can see only the option to Delete and not edit. Thank you

No, you cannot edit the posts, not even in the collection itself.
Oh bad. What the purpose of moderators then 
its hard to keep the forum clean then. Thanks for the reply.
@amalkabeerm they can delete the posts that violates certain rules, block members, close threads, mark best answers and move the posts to their right category.
