Hello,
I am often putting together long pages with many items on them.
I also often need to go back and include extra information under certain items ( here is an example: https://www.gatimedia.co.uk/list-of-knobs-2 ).
On the previous Editor it was super easy - I minimised the page and could just grab a line anywhere where there was a space and incrase space. With the new Editor most of the page is a single section and no lines in the minimised view to increase space.
How can I get back that function or what should I be using instead?
Hey Attila,
If you use the Advanced CSS Grid, you can add a new section to the grid under any existing session, opening more space and allowing you to add the extra info.
Hey @Attila_Gasparetz!
Seems you’re using the Wix Editor, right?
When selecting elements or sections, you should see “handles” that allow you to drag content up or down. Meaning if you drag it down, it will push everything underneath it down too.
Hope that helps
Thanks for the replies!
@Randall_ORCHESTRADOR Unfortuntely, Advanced CSS Grid is apparently, something I can’t use on that section.
Thank you Noah - I can see the handles on the section - the problem for me is that 90% of a very very long page is part of a single section that I can’t break down now so the only way to insert new items is to select and move things chunk by chunk.
Previously, I was able to make a little space between items and when minimised the view I was able to drag a handle in that section and increase the space. Any other options to get that feature back?
I believe you’re referencing the editor before sections were introduced.
I’m curious, does dragging the elements down using the handle on the elements themself not work? It should allow you to create a gap.
Oh WOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Didn’t notice the handles on the elements
My problem is solved now!!!
And yes I was referencing that earlier version of the Editor!
