How to Prevent Double Bookings?

We have 3 staff members and only one office space. When a client books an appointment with a staff member, we don’t want anyone else to be able to book during that time slot (even if the other staff members are available). How do we do this?

I’m having the same issue and really need to know how to resolve it before I open my doors.

3 years later and they have little interest in solving the issue of double bookings.

The recommendation I received from wix bookings is just to either manually block out one of the services to prevent double bookings, or assign a different staff member so that the original staff member is double booked.

These are obviously not real solutions because the first requires a lot of monitoring, and the second doesn’t work for a business with more services than staff members.

This case, you can solve by using

  1. only 1 staff, share the same calendar across staffs

  2. setup sync across staffs using zapier/velo code, so the time will be blocked out of all

  3. setup block on Wix Bookings end (listen to events.js) to each staff.

Is there any update on this? We only one facility with multiple staff - where customers select the staff member based on their requirements.
