I have a member area on my Wix store.
This store is reserved for B2B clients, and I need to verify that the company actually exists.
In France, we have the KBIS, which is an official document proving the legal existence of a company.
I would like new members, when signing up, to upload their KBIS document as a PDF so that I can verify the authenticity of their company.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to make this work.
Could you please help me?

Create a custom signup form, and add a File Upload Field under Advanced Fields and set it as required.
You’re overcomplicating it. Wix doesn’t natively let you require document uploads during member sign-up with verification. You have two realistic paths:
Use Wix Forms + Manual Approval
Create a form that asks for KBIS upload.
Require manual review before granting member access.
Hide member-only content until you approve.
Use a third-party app
Something like 123FormBuilder, JotForm, or Zapier to handle file upload + automated notifications.
Connect it to Wix so the file goes somewhere secure and triggers your review.
Trying to do automated KBIS verification is not feasible inside Wix. You’ll always need a manual check.
