I read many posts about resizing a page, there seems to be something blocking the footer from moving up, it can adjust down but I just cannot move it up. I deleted all objects from my page, and even created a new page, but the footer is in the same position, leaving a large blank space between the header and footer even if no object is in the page. I also double clicked the footer resize button and it didn’t work. HELP!
Actually I had this issue in the past, and there was really no element there (I went one by one via the layers). I think it’s a kind of a bug. I think I resolved it somehow, but I don’t remember how.
Anyway, it’s a matter for Wix Support:

Thank you!!!
I’ve been having this exact same problem for 2 days. I’m pretty sure theres a bug.
They resolved it after I called. turns out there was a tiny object blocking the footer. you can select a rectangular area right above the footer to see if you r running into the same issue.
In my case, I also called support. The support person told me to double-click the “Adjust Page Hight” icon.
As soon as I did, the blank space (magically) disappeared. Totally un-intuitive, but it did the trick. Yes, this does sound like a bug.
the double-click way doesn’t work for me.
i solved this problem by a quite weird trick
-
add a stripe on the footer
-
stretch your original upper stripe down, while trying to drag the new stripe up.
-
then you can adjust the page height afterwards.
