It feels like we’re limited to place elements on any area we want and keep the layout responsive.
I hope wix can do something so that we can have more freedom to place elements even outside of gridlines and still have the site responsive.

I just responded on a post for this issue. I’m using wix since 2007 and I’ve followed Wix development so far, which is great and that’s why I decided to use wix exclusively for my clients and spend countless hours to learn the wix API library so I build custom applications on wix. That been said, we are in 2019 now and wix should finally get rid of the 980px limitation gridlines and be fully responsive! I really hope this update comes soon and it will be even cooler if you can give us an estimate time that we can expect it! Thank you!
Can’t wait for that cool thing I hope we will all the freedom to design pages the way we want such as WordPress and other platforms instead of being limited inside of a 980px box
