IK AM NOT HAPPY!!!

I have added your new feature multilingual and added a page in english to my site. But, but…, as it is connected to the main language page, I can not change my code in the translated page without affecting the main page ( cool isn’it? ). And there is no way to get it read of it whence selected ( supercool isn’it?). So I duplicated the page, verified that I could change part of the new page code without consequences to the main language page, start over then deleted my second language page and, YAHOO, the duplicated page is now in the main language and I have lost hours of work.
This makes me mad because you advertise everywhere that you never let a new feature out without extended verifications. That is absolutely false!!!
And I have to start over from the backup site and lost many additional hours of design. So I would say:
KEEP ON THE GOOD JOB AFTER ALL WE ARE JUST HUMAN AND PRONE TO MISTAKE EVEN IF IT HAS A COST ( SPECIALY WHEN THE COST IS SUPPORTED BY OTHERS ). I AM PISSED OFF!!!

Sorry that you are encountering difficulties. This forum is dedicated to Wix Code. For questions that are not related to code you can contact the Wix support team . You’ll get better help for your issues there.

You can try site revisions to restore your previous site. Every version of the site is saved and can be restored

Thanks for your answer both of you. What is terrible is we can not have 2 separate pages when we use it. And when added no option to revert back meaning to stop using it on a specific site. They could have done it without the need to absolutely link the 2 pages making the code working for each page and not all pages.
And some features are great like : menu translation and cart translation that we do not have with the app languages ( last time I visited ).
Best regards to both of you and sorry for the nerves: a full day work for nothing was hard to swallow.

Hey Tierlock,

I understand the nerves, it happens when trying to do something complicated. Yoav had a really good suggestion about restoring from a previous version. Don’t know why I didn’t think of it since I frequently do it myself. You can find this option in the main editor menu:

I will often make a duplicate of my site so that I can experiment with new features. I always assume that new features have bugs or I won’t know how to use them properly and I don’t like taking chances.

If you have suggestions regarding this feature, please feel free to post your ideas in the Feature Request forum.

You can always contact the Wix support team for assistance. For issues that aren’t related to code, they usually know best.

All the best

Hi Ysrael,

cool! I did backup my site before starting but after hours of working on it things changed a lot : translations were made and artwork evolved quite a lot. But thanks anyway for taking time answering me.
Wish you the best and Yoav too.
