Introduction to link building reference?

Hi everybody,

Getting into SEO and link building is intriguing to me. Problem I find is there seems to be a fair amount of noise and when I see people advertise on sites like Fiverr for linkbuilding my spidey-sense tingles in a big way.

So:

  • Is there a trustworthy online reference? I can Google for a long time but would like to know what you trust
  • Are these link builders any good or you’ll just get “shadowbanned” or the like by the search engines?
