Invoice is paid Automation not triggered

Question:
Why is Invoice is paid Automation not triggered ?

I want to automate the invoices so the json is sent to a backend service on every payment. The issue is the automation is never triggered !

We have an item where we test-buy a product for 0.00 Dollar. When buying this item, this automation is not caused!

What is the reason behind this?

Are there some settings i need to consider?

From what I understand, you are buying a product as a test on your Wix Stores online store and you are expecting the Invoice is Paid automation to be triggered?

Wix Stores and Wix Invoices are two different products.

I would recommend you to use the ‘On order placed’ Wix Stores automation for your desired outcome.
