The mobile view of my website (designed for iPhone) is showing on an iPad using Google App (NOT chrome or Safari). The fonts look really large - i want to have the desktop version always to show on iPad and the mobile version only show on iPhone. Has anyone else experienced this ?
Are you using Wix Editor or Wix Studio? If its former, create a breakpoint for the iPhone and keep its layout like the desktop
I’m using Wix Editor but thinking about moving to Wix Studio as there is more control
In Wix Studio you can create a breakpoint of the iPad and set a design for it, including font size and styles.
Use Stripes and columns to optimize in Classic Editor.
The “tablet version” is the content within the grid lines.

Same for me. Started happening ~ early December. Using Wix Editor. My website shows Mobile version on Ipad, and Ive tried multiple Ipads. This wasnt a problem in the Autumn.
Gotta be a Wix issue. My website has always worked perfectly fine on Ipads/tablets.

Yeah, this is what we are doing. This gotta be a Wix issue. My website displayed perfectly fine on Ipads/tablets until early December. I’m now looking for a resolution to this issue, and I believe it is a Wix issue, as I haven’t done any change to my website that would have caused this.
I’m using Wix Editor.

It must be a Wix issue. Yes the mobile version is showing on a tablet - but only seems to do it if using google browser - not chrome -chrome seems fine.
I ended up switching to Wix studio - going live this week. Was a real pain moving to studio from editor but pleased I did now. Much more quality product with a lot more control.
Seems like a browser issue.
A browser update could have changed your settings to view as mobile by default.
Hi, no unfortunately not a browser issue. This issue is occurring on all tablets.
With my own tablet, I looked at the browser’s settings and switched between mobile view and desktop view. It has always been mobile view, and always displayed my website nicely, until December. This is a Wix issue.

I searched all over the net. It only seemed to be a problem for me if I used google app on an iPad but not google chrome app on an iPad. I see in Wix disclaimer that they do not support the google app only the chrome app. I ended up redesigning whole website in Wix studio - a lot of work - but working much better on all browser apps.
