iPhone Safari w/ browser font size increased displays the DESKTOP version of the site instead of the MOBILE

I created a new site in Wix Studio. It looks great on desktop and on mobile in general. However, I noticed an issue specifically in Safari on iPhone:

When I increase the font size in Safari (using Safari’s text size option in the bottom-left menu), the site suddenly switches to the desktop layout instead of staying on the mobile breakpoint. If I decrease the font size again, it switches back to the mobile version. It essentially toggles between mobile and desktop layouts based on Safari text size changes.

I tested this on another iPhone and the same thing happened.

I’ve seen comments suggesting that Wix sites don’t render properly below 320px width. Could Safari’s increased font size be reducing the effective viewport width below 320px and forcing the desktop layout?

Has anyone else run into this or found a workaround?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a work around for this?

I’ve not heard of this behavior before, but sounds like it might be a bug. Since you already have the steps to reproduce, I would recommend reporting it following the steps outlined in this topic.
