Is it possible to create a job board website with wix?

I am working on a project and will need a website that will be able to have 2 separate logins (Job Applicant and Employer) where both of them after login should have their own little “website profile” with resume / company overview. Applicants will be able to search for free job postings and Employers will have to pay monthly membership to be able to post. Both will need to have logins to search the data. Bonus feature I would like to add is matching the Applicant and Employers by keywords.

These would be your code ‘ingredients’:

Wix Paid Plans
Add regular page, set paid plans settings for paid members only
Create form on that page (that will perform the ‘posting’ of information)
Create a page to display an index of information
Create a dynamic item page to display posting information after they click on ‘index’

You can look up YouTube tutorials to learn how to create a member site, how to create forms and how to add Wix Paid Plans to your site.

In reality it is less about the code, and more about the logic and flow of the website.

I’m currently in the stages of doing this. It’s not easy, that said I’m NOT a developer and most every bit of code I’ve done has been from tutorials and research (hence it’s taken me so long).

I’m about 85% there but hitting a few obsticles that connect a few elements. Like @code-queen says though, it’s more about flow as opposed to code.

@courtneybmansell I spent too much time trying to figure it out and I gave up on Wix. For me a lot better and cheaper option is Wordpress and I am almost at the end of my project which I am doing by myself with 0 experience in any type of website builders.

@code-queen Your response is worth its weight in gold! I mainly just needed to know that there IS a way to make it work, and then I can figure out the rest so long as I know this is something actually possible within Wix’s current systems. I’m planning to create a niche job board site that specifically serves swing dance teachers across the globe. :slight_smile: Thanks!

Oof, Sorry you had to give up on Wix in the end. Thanks for your reply though. I am hoping for better luck when I give it a go!
