Is Wix Smart Chat really bad or just misunderstood?

My recent search said it’s called Smart Chat now. However, I am a bit terrified by the reviews. Is it really bad, or only disappointed people write reviews?

I wish there was a relaible native tool, as some of my customers insist on Wix App market solution, despite I got used to some third party apps like Chatbase or Elfsight AI chatbot.

Any news?

I tend to believe the best way to understand if an app meets your needs is to try it out first hand :wink: - in the very worst case, you’ll uninstall and need to look for something else.

In regards to reviews, people naturally lean towards leaving one if they have an experience that doesn’t meet their expectations vs one that does. The team have worked (and continue) to improve the overall experience, with new features/settings dropping regularly :slight_smile:

I trust the effort your team puts into development and (into support too). I will try the app the next time one of my Wix using customers is in need for an AI chat on their site. I used to keep track of its progress, but I’ve forgotten about the app until I noticed a relevant post :slight_smile:
