I work for a niche business so AI options often get things wrong, reinforcing common misconceptions by potential clients. Wix Chat currently encourages users to switch to using Smart Chat, so I’m trying to set it up as a manual-only option just to improve stability and function (Wix Chat has given us quite a few bugs, including not being able to chat back with users who are still on the website if they haven’t given their email). Wix Smart Chat doesn’t even have an icon for the compact/minimized chat that isn’t related to AI! Is there something I’m missing that allows you to change the icon to a simple chat bubble?
Even if I was interested in the AI chat options, why would I want our business chat to only be indicated by the same star icon of every other generative AI option on the market. It’s frustrating that there is going to be limited normal Chat support in the future and the new alternative gears heavily towards AI and doesn’t split the difference or compromise at all. Wish I could customize like any other button on the platform
