I’m seeking guidance on setting up effective email flows with Klaviyo on our Wix site, which is service-based rather than product-focused. Here’s the breakdown of the current challenges:
- Welcome Flow Issue: Despite having over 788 sign-ups in the last 30 days, only 43 Welcome emails have been sent. Klaviyo Support indicated this could be due to the ‘Newsletter List’ being double opt-in, which limits the number of subscribers receiving the Welcome email. I have now switched to a single opt-in setup—has anyone else found this improves the flow?
2. Abandoned Cart Flow for Services: Since our site offers services rather than products, we’re struggling to trigger abandoned cart emails as we would for product-based e-commerce. Wix Support mentioned that their abandoned cart feature tracks carts internally, but integrating this data with Klaviyo requires third-party tools like Zapier or a custom API. Has anyone successfully set up such a workaround for service bookings?
If anyone has encountered similar issues with Klaviyo or has insights on using Zapier or API integrations to resolve these, I’d love to hear from you. Any recommendations on best practices for handling service-based flows in a Wix-Klaviyo setup would also be appreciated!
