Keyboard on site-user's mobile device not appearing for edit fields

In the last couple of days, ios an android users of my site are reporting that their keyboard does not appear when they click on an edit field. I checked it out and they are right. When you click on an edit field on my site on a mobile device, the mobile keyboard appears for a split second then dissappears. Seems like a recently introduced bug? Anyone else seen this?

Although this isn’t the right forum for this dialogue, I do want to offer you an explanation as to why I go directly to the forum and bypass Wix Customer Care: Unfortunately, my experience with reporting bugs via Wix Customer Care has been appalling. I’ve waited weeks for a response and then it is a bland one with no real help. When I use the actual ‘speak to someone on the phone’ option, as soon as I mention that the site uses velo code, I get the response “Oh, we’ll have to get our expert team to contact you”. Then another one or two week’s wait. I have used many many service providers in my years in the industry and, sadly, the Wix help & support is about the worst I’ve encountered. On the other hand, in my view, Wix does have an incredibly good product which is the only reason I haven’t moved. I haven’t found anything that comes close. Regarding this particular bug, I re-published the site today (with no code changes) and the problem has ‘magically’ gone away Hmmm. This kind of thing also not unusual - bugs appearing and then disappearing a few days later with no code changes. But I live with it for the same reasons I stay with Wix - that it’s an excellent system overall. In my experience, Wix Customer Care is and has for many years been a massively weak link in what is otherwise an excellent platform. Cheers for now.

We could not find any tickets that were open under this current address.
Could it be that you’re using another account for your work as well as to contact support?

Edit: Oh my. I just got an email back from my response to 307647655 asking me to ‘one click’ and it said it would copy my response and I wouldn’t have to do anything else. So I followed the instructions and I got another email with a new support number asking me to enter all the details again! So, you should look at this support ticket too and my response to it: 1031194048.

Just to tie things up. The problem simply went away. I republished the site (with no related code changes) and it magically worked again on both android and ios. Not the first time I’ve seen this where things break and then a day or two later just a re-publish and no code changes seems to fix them. Cheers
