Leyers very helpful but need someting

hi i work a lot with elements that are togather and leyers helps a lot. But there is annoying thing that i cant pin it. I hide layer and when i go out of layer window its closing automatilcy. Please make that i can pin it like normal properties. it would be very helpfull. Thanks
