Limiting Events Displayed

Hello :slight_smile:
We’re using the Wix Event element to feature events on our home page. The hope is for it to just show a few of the Upcoming events. I was wondering if it is possible to limit the number of events that are displayed at one time to the next 6 upcoming events. The way it is right now, it seems to just show every event we have scheduled and then the more events, the bigger the section grows extending the page, getting in behind the footer even. I realize we can select events manually but I was wondering if there was an automatic way of doing it.

Hi @emalee , the option right now is the manual one but I’ll pass your request on for our product wishlist :slight_smile:

Here’s how to do it manually for now:

There is an option to select manually which specific events you want to display on your site, hence, you could choose the 6 events you want. Go to Events widget >> settings >> my events >> choose events to display >> select manually >> select the events you wish to display.

This is also on my wishlist. I want to be able to have one upcoming event in the hero, but with many events per week it’s very time consuming to change to the latest event every time.

I can’t believe limiting the amount of events on display wasn’t standard. Absolutely terrible planning. One of the many reasons I’m leaving wix like many others. cant even get the basics right. 1 year later is still isn’t fixed.
