Question:
I am creating a QR code to a dynamic page on my site. Why is the link going to the right URL but ultimately resulting in a 404 page?

What are you trying to achieve:
If I put this link into QR code generator https://www.portrichmondstrong.com/veteransbios (or refresh the page), It appears to redirect to
https://www.portrichmondstrong.com/veterans-bios-all and then I get a 404 error page.
I created the original QR code last year, and it seemed to work fine. I was testing the link today, and I found this issue.
When I navigate to the dynamic page there doesn’t seem to be an issue.
How do I create a link that will work?
Did you recently change the URL pattern of that dynamic page?
Have you checked the pattern of that dynamic page?
I didn’t make any changes.
It appears when I go to the first link by navigating to the page
portrichmondstrong.com/veterans >>> and click on the “Meet Our Heroes” button, it goes to https://www.portrichmondstrong.com/veteransbios and there is no issue and the page appear as expected. BUT if I refresh the page, I get 404 error.
AND if Iink directly to this page, or cut and paste the URL into my browser I get a 404 error.
Sorry, not much I can help without seeing the editor.
You need to check the dynamic page URL settings and the button that is connected to the page. When a dynamic URL changes it will not be reachable by any buttons connected before it was changed.
In a side note—— I recently redesigned a City of commerce website and also created a page for Veterans banners!
I used a gallery to keep it mobile friendly, allow people to read the bio (if any) and not lose their spot while they are opening and closing banners.
