Make button change drop down option

What are you trying to achieve:
I have a form that has a drop down menu, I also have a page that has buttons on it. I would like to press one of the various buttons and make the form open and change the option on the drop down menu. I’ve looked all over and cannot find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well you did not provide detailed question (setup-description) and i did not provide a detailed answer. I think this was fair.

-Anybody knows how exactly looks your setup.
-Anybody knows which form you have used → CUSTOM one? Wix-Forms?
-So you did use a DATASET-Connection, or not?
-ID of Dropdown-menu? ID of worm?
-Do you have already generated some code, or is all your setup till now code-free?
