Question:
I have 2 identical websites one in English and one in Afrikaans.
I duplicated the English website once it was finished and then just translated the duplicated website to Afrikaans. I know you can just put a translator on the English website but the website was to big to also host the Afrikaans content.
So the duplicated website (Afrikaans one) works 100%, if you visit it for the first time, it shows the subscription options and you can sign up etc…
Now I get a few inquiries each day of people unable to log in to their account on the Afrikaans website or try to buy a subscription but nothing shows, and the only work around is for them to either clear the cookies for this site or to access the site on incognito tab.
The English version does not do this so I am not sure what the problem could be. Since they are basically identical to one another.
This problem where users can’t log in or see the subscription available is present for all devices and browsers, so it something to do with the website itself.
I have reached out to wix support, but they cant help me because they say they can’t recreate the problem on their side.
Anyone know how to fix the issue or faced something similar?
