I have been searching for around 3 an half hours and can not find a reason why this has randomly started happening.
I have slides on my site. On one of the slide shows is a text based with 5 slides. I have changed the order of slides and also some text with in each slide of that slideshow on the desktop editor. The changes are complete in the desktop and saved properly. These changes are not being mirrored in the mobile version. It has changed the order of the slides but not the text. I have no way to change the text. What can I do?
On a different slide show with media, the slides I changed the order of have changed on desktop but not on mobile??
I can not find any contact to discuss this issue either, which is driving me insane because previously i was able to get a ticket to get a issue fixed and that no longer seems the case, even though I paid for the top package which should included that.
When you modify the mobile version of an element it’s “disconnected” from the desktop one.
I think that duplicating the slideshow will generate a fresh mobile version that’s connected and reflects the desktop version.
I have a related problem: My Collection updates fine from the Computer published version, but not fron de mobile device. Did any of you solve the issue?
Hi did you get this resolved? I have updated my online shop for a restock however the mobile version is only showing 4 items where as the app or a desktop is showing the full range of 22 products.
For some reason all the comments just disappeared was going to see if anyone figured out a way to fix this. The “help support” area mentions a “sandbox” but the page I’m having issues with wasn’t there to sync. It was working fabulous, then just started jacking up.If any one has figured out how to get the mobile to sync with the changes you make on the desktop - please ping me on IG @thefaceofagoddess this is frustrating AF!
I tried duplicating the page that was messing up, I dup’d the page, with all elements included, then deleted the other one hit refresh, save, publish… opened mobile and it dup’d the jacked up out of sync version hahahaha!! All I could do was laugh… so… yea… #Nope
MY FIX - check to see if your items are hidden on mobile. Mine were but I didn’t set this, it might be some optimization for mobile and it didn’t tell you. GL
Just incase of any use. The mobile editor will allow you to completely remove and rewrite text or copy across from the desktop as you’ve amended. A Pain in the bum, but worked for me when i’d the same issue with slides just now.
I just figured out the easiest way to fix your mobile site if it’s not displaying sections in the correct order (basically this is how to refresh or rebuild your mobile site).
Go to the Mobile Editor
Delete all of the sections by left-clicking on them to select and hitting the delete key on your keyboard. It won’t let you delete the last one but that’s fine. Also you’re not deleting content, just hiding it.
Exit the editor back to your home page (just close the tab or hit the Wix logo in the top left and make sure the editor tab isn’t open in the background)
Load the Editor again by clicking on the Edit Site button in the top right. You should notice that there’s a progress bar that pops up along the top as the editor updates your site again.
Switch back to the mobile editor and on the Left side Tool Bar at the bottom you should now see an eyeball icon with a \ through it. Click on that and you’ll see a list of all hidden elements. Click the Show button to the right of each section you want to show. This should fix the section order so it appears the same as on your desktop version.
It’s been a while since this post was made but just in case this helps anyone. I had the same issue where the data from my collection wasn’t updating in the table on the mobile version. What worked for me was clicking the table and hiding it, then going into the Hidden on Mobile option in the menu and make that table shown once again. The changes were updated and reflected the desktop version.
Hi everyone, I had the same issue. I realized through some research that Wix is awful and the mobile/desktop function together and also arbitrarily separate. Here’s what I did:
Deleted the carousels that weren’t working in the MOBILE version.
Deleted the carousels that weren’t working in the DESKTOP version.
Created a new gallery with the same photos/form on the DESKTOP version.
Sure enough, the mobile version reflected these changes. Hope this helps!
