More streamlined way to add Blocks App to App Store

I created a few apps using Wix blocks with some code but I’m not a developer and as I went to add it to the App Store I was denied. Even though there’s an option for a one-time payment, I was told that it’s not supported. I was also told that user can download the app no matter what, even if I don’t offer a free trial and that it was up to me to add code to ensure that they pay before using it on their live sites. This makes no sense to me. Wix should handle the way apps are downloaded in their App Store. If we want to add additional things then cool that should require code, but If I simply want to offer my app for sale for a one-time fee or with no free trial than it should be able to be done but making the selections that are provided when submitting a app. This is just another thing that seems to be a gatekeeper for Developers.

Hey @AnthonyAllioo!

These are some great points, and I’ll be sure to pass them on.

For a little insight… blocks go through the Dev Centre, which is the same platform/area where third-party apps also get published to the app market.

It makes sense that it should be clearer what can/can’t be possible.

On the side of adding additional code according to if someone has paid etc, this is likely due to scenarios like someone deciding they no longer wanted to pay, but still having the app installed. You’d want to prevent them from continuing to benefit from the app that they’re no longer paying for.

Yea, I’ve been trying to figure out how to code this for the past 2 weeks and can’t figure it out. The article doesn’t really help me. I need help with the actual code thats needed.
