Multilingual page, after publishing page the main language is not the right one, it should be Slovene, but it is in English

Question:
My page has a main language and three other languages, so altogether 4. When I publish the site the main language should be Slovene, but instead of Slovene it is in English. After trying different options it showed that published site stays in Sloven as long as there are main language and two other languages (3 altogether). When it is more the main language changes to English.
The Preview shows correct language.

What are you trying to achieve:
Main language should be Slovene not English.

What have you already tried:
After hiding one language it works as wanted. As long there are 3 languages altogether.
Checked the Language & Region and it is set correctly.
Language auto-switch is off.

With Wix Multilingual, you can offer your site in one main language and multiple secondary languages. Currently, it is not possible to change your site’s main language to a different language.

Workarounds:

We are always working to update and improve our products, and your feedback is hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
The site has one main language and three secondary languages. But the published site doesn’t show content in main language, but in secondary (in this case English instead Slovene). Even if I choose the main language from the menu it still shows English content. But when I hide one of the secondary languages, the published site shows correct main language.

Possible Cause:

  • Wix’s automatic language detection might be malfunctioning or not configured correctly.

Solutions:

  1. Disable Automatic Language Detection:
  • Go to your Wix dashboard.
  • Click on Multilingual .
  • Click on Settings .
  • Under Language auto-switch , toggle the switch to Disabled . This will force the site to display content based on the chosen language from the menu, regardless of the visitor’s browser language.
  1. Clear Cache:
  • Sometimes, cached data can cause unexpected behavior. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try accessing your site again.

I hope this information solve the problem

Thank you.
I tried what you suggested, but it didn’t help.
The Preview shows all the languages correctly.
I was adding some translations manually in one of the secondary languages and after publishing the problem with the main language appeared.
