My Profile Page Only Linking To Wix Contacts

Hi,

Please can someone shed some light onto why ‘My Profile’ and ‘My Profile Update’ pages (build using the common tutorials) will only show the Wix Contacts information it holds for the user and NOT the information I have for the member in the dataset that is connected to the pages? In preview mode, all works fine. On the live site, however, I just cannot find a way to make it work. To clarify - it is displaying only the information Wix Contacts holds and is not connecting the various fields to the database, for example. the url ‘is /members/ad6b7397-621f-41de-a31e-4c8dd1bc1685’ and yet ‘ad6b7397-621f-41de-a31e-4c8dd1bc1685’ does not correspond to any of the fields in my dataset. Too many days spent trying to fix this already, so hopefully someone here can help?

Hey Anna,

Usually when something is working in Preview yet not on the live site, it’s a problem of syncing your sandbox/live database, see here ( https://support.wix.com/en/article/about-sandbox-data-and-live-data ) for more information.

If that isn’t the problem, I’ll need a bit more information on what exactly you’re trying to do, what you expect to happen and what actually happens - maybe even add a screen shot or two to demonstrate the problem?
