Excited to see the iCal integration. Don’t have it yet on my dashboard but I’ll try to wait patiently lol. This will allow me to move a few people I know over to Wix Bookings from other providers once it goes live.
The iCal integration is super easy to set up. Got access last night. I do have a couple questions @stevenjose . Will the option for save to iCal when someone books be an option soon? Right now it’s just Google Calendar. Will two way sync be coming soon? I love that I can set auto bookings now that it reads my calendars but I would love to see the appointments auto sync to my Apple devices instead of having to manually enter them.
Is there a way to make clients an automatic site member when they book a service?
AND
is it possible to add a feature for the owners as we create the bookings pages that allows us to give a client automatic access to a private member page on the website?
For example: I have online only video channels that live stream my classes via Wix live stream through a Streamlabs encoder. My video channels are each on a separate private page linked to a pricing plan. I also have Member Permissions set up for each channel/private page so that my clients who come to the in person classes can also get access to the online as a bonus in case they can’t make a class they signed up for or want to take the same class again.
To do this they have to be a site member. They are not required to be a site member to sign up for a service or course I offer and never think to do so, and then I can’t manually add them in to my Member Permissions work around to give them access to these pages.
If on set up for each bookings offering there was an option/toggle for us to give folks who sign up access to a particular members only page, that would be really helpful.
Side note/quirk - you do have this option for pricing plans but the challenge there is if I select the pricing plan for my video channel, anyone I have as a guest in my member permissions can no longer access the private member page and are asked then to pay for what should be for them, free.
This is amazing feedback, and it sounds like you have dug through the possibilities as you mentioned the closest thing to achieve this would be to use Pricing Plan however that comes with its own downside and limitations. There is no way to do this directly within Bookings.
This would be a great feature to allow more of a community around your business by even more ways to have your guests become a member of your site. #Bookings
