Nightmare Loading Speed (14s)

Hey guys,

I did build my website jb-motors.de where the homepage is just a scroll down page, with a small image as a background, a button and a slider, and some more images, texts and buttons the more you scroll.

So now I was going live, trying to improve the page and was shocked by the unbelievable long loading page. It takes Google Chrome’s Dev Tool to fully load my page in 14s, other tools needed 8s for loading the page. They stated that 189 requests were made to load and just the Java scripts takes um 75% of my content and requests.

Is there anything I can do, except removing all of the content or compressing my images to 50kb. I honestly see only on option and that is leaving wix and starting all over again with wordpress or anything else.
