This started yesterday, and wix will do nothing. Have and did all the troubleshooting on “my end”. Went through 3 tickets now because each time they just come back with can not reproduce on their end. I have tried deleting and recreating pages, signing out, clearing cache, etc, etc, etc. Nadda. So how can this go on for 24 hours and not be seen by them??
Can not add input box or submit buttons…will not allow save or publish!
Tried to add a simple text to the same page. Will not allow to save or publish, same error. That is new. Hmm.
Delete offending page. Hey, it allowed me to do that and publish!
Created new page and added simple text “Wix sucks”. It allowed to save and publish!
Added input field and button, dataset, etc. Allowed me to publish! And the input and submit worked.
Go back to try to edit the input and submit for my needs.
6…back to suck. Will not allow me to edit the button connection or submit button. Gives same error on attempt to publish when try to edit!
This occurs no matter if I set up as normal page and add dataset connections, or if try as creating a new dynamic page.
That is not an issue with WixCode. I myself sometimes get this issue and 90% of the time it has nothing to do with Wix.
if that does not fix likely your session is simply expired and you must log in again. Especially true if you log in with facebook. Only have one instance of the editor open at any time.
That said if the solution does not work it is Likely at some point your internet connection dropped for a short while or your connection was lost. also check for this
One thing you could try is clearing your Site Cache on the Wix Editor page. This will also fix the error 502 issue if you get that (Usually when your browser sends a malformed request).
F12 → Application → Clear Site Data
Now sir, I have looked through other tickets you have posted and you generally have a Rude attitude.
Please note this " Community Forum " is pretty much Community Run , and all of us Experts and Users who Love Wix are less inclined to assist when someone is constantly saying Wix Sucks, Go to Weebly, Wix is Falling Apart , because of User Error. Wix staff are generally only on here for several hours a day, so if you constantly insult something the community love, we are not likely to work with you to find a solution for your issues, and you will have to wait for the Staff to come on.
