QA:

Q: Can Editor X be used on existing websites?
A: No - Editor X is a different editor.

Q: Does EditorX currently support Corvid? And all previous Wix Apps?
A: Yes and Yes! Editor X will support Corvid and the Business tools Wix provides!

Q: When will the beta be available?
A: EVERYONE - ALL regions - can apply right now at https://editorx.com - and we are hoping to start sending invites in the coming weeks! Stay tuned!

Q: If Editor X is a different editor, how do we access it?
A: In a similar fashion you would access ADI or Classic Editor - You will see. :slight_smile:

Q: How do we apply Editor X to existing sites?
A: Editor X will not work with existing sites.

Q: Will agency premiums still apply to Editor X created sites?
A: Yes, but I would keep in mind this is still a beta. :slight_smile:

Q: Will the eX be a pay to use service to design partners?
A: The answer is yes, and on stage Nir eluded to Editor X being part of a larger package Wix is still building. There will be more on this - and it will be equally as exciting as Editor X. The beta, however, is free to apply. =)

Q: Will it be an option to transfer an existing Wix website to the new editor? or is this for new websites projects only?
A: Currently it is not possible. We will take this as a feature request and take it to the team!

Q: Should we start planning on moving “manually” our existing website to the new platform?
A: I wouldn’t plan on doing anything at this point but signing up to the beta! But, yes, Editor X is a completely different editor. If you want a site to have the capabilities of Editor X it must be created with Editor X.

Q: how much will it cost? will existing premium plans apply?
A: At this point there is no official pricing or structure for Editor X and how it might be packaged. We will update everyone when we have something more concrete.

Q: Will requests for people wanting to build a site on Editor X be designated as such?
A: Possibly - that’s an Arena feature request. As a designer you might offer the option to the client and it might also depend on their needs. That’s for you to decide. :slight_smile:

Q: Can we build client sites in the beta with the new editor?
A: Yes you can, but keep in mind this is a beta.

This is so exciting and AMAZING! I do have a few questions:

  1. If EditorX is a different editor how do we access it? Will it always be separate? Or, is it a tool we turn on and off like Corvid? How do we apply it to existing sites? Does this change the premium plan needed to run a responsive site?
  2. What are the pricing plans for EditorX created websites?
  3. Will Agency purchased premium business plans still apply to Editor X created websites?

Right big question, does the wix blog integrate in to new editor, and is it then also by default responsive?
