Hey what’s up ya’ll! I’m Jo Kurino and I am president of Elitus Incorporated in Japan. My hometown is actually Hyattsville, MD in the Washington, DC metro area but the game of basketball brought me to Japan so I am here. I am originally a graphic designer by trade and even worked as a designer for a year after college. Upon receiving an offer to play pro basketball in Japan, I established my company in 2007. After finishing a 15 year hoop career, I am now focused on my business more than ever.
I’ve been a Wix user since 2010, and have been involved with many things Wix-related. Wix Pro, WCT, Wix webmaster, Wix Ambassador, name it, I’m doing it. Also co-founder of the world’s first-ever Wix-related Association here in Japan. WixEd is no longer available to the masses but I was also the first-ever Wix Certified Trainer (WCT) at the time of establishment.
I am fluent in both english and Japanese. I design on Wix. Browse the web. Watch sports. And hope to build more friendships and increase interactions on this forum!
