Open link in same tab with gallery as a repeater

I have set a URL in my database collection. If I use a gallery as a repeater is it possible to open the link in the SAME tab? I have worked out how to do it withs grids but not how to do it with a gallery as a repeater yet.

I would be really thankful if someone could help me.

Hi,
I’m not sure that I fully understand your question. You’ve used a repeater as a gallery and you wish to open the URL in the same tab? What is the event that causing the URL opening? Clicking on the image? Text? Can you please clarify what is the scenario?

I get the same behaviour - I have a collection containing a URL. I have a repeater containing a button, I connect a button to the URL field from the collection and when clicked it opens in a new window rather than in the same window.
