Opening URL in same window from a repeater

I am trying to work out how to open a URL I have set in my database collection to open in the same window.

I have set up a database that has categories. A user then selects the category they want to view and are then directed to the next page. At the moment when the user selects the item it opens it up in a new TAB. I need it to open in the current TAB.

Any help would be appreciated.

As you used a gallery as a repeater can you show the code? I unterstand how it works with grids but I don’t get the right code for galleries…

I am having the same problem with trying to get my URL to open in the same page using a repeater.

I need the page to open in the same window but it opens in a new window.
Now I can open the Properties Panel and have figured out to add an onclick event to the read button but have no idea as to which piece of code to input.
I am not familiar with code so you will have to guide me with this and also highlight what part of the code you provide I have to change so that it will work on my website.
Not sure if this helps but my button ID is: button53
