Possibility of adding variant price to a product gallery

Hi.

So I have product galleries set up on my site, and they show the product “price”. They show the price as entered in “basic info”. However, I have variants for many products, so for each variant there is basic info price, plus an added amount, up to the most expensive variant.

I would like to change “$9.00” basic info price to add “$9.00/variantMIN - $170/variantMAX” as a generalization. Can this function be added in code and attached to a product gallery element to modify the information it presents?

At the time being modifications of the price property is not possible and permitted. I am sorry for this too.

I have 4 variants with the same base price of $5 for each (so +/- column is 0). However when I go to order, the price changes to $0 when I pick a variant. Please help. thanks
