Preventing tablet/mobile view on desktop but keeping flexible breakpoints

Hi there,

I’m designing an Editor X site (which has been a total pain, the thought of restarting in Wix Studio gives me nightmares) and am currently having an issue with breakpoints.

I’m yet to design the mobile/tablet version, but when I preview my website on desktop if I make the browser small enough, rather than reaching the minimum px and no longer reformatting itself, it continues to and shows mobile view/tablet view all on desktop.

Is there a way to keep the flexibility of breakpoints within a certain parameter and when it goes under that parameter it becomes fixed? I swear I had this feature on early on in the process of making this site, but its recently started going haywire.

My advice: Instead of trying to generate one page for both kind of screens (mobile and desktop) → create 2-separate pages. One of it designed for desktops with big resolutions only and the other one for tablets and phones, with much lower resolution.

Then use… —> formFactor - Velo API Reference - Wix.com
…to get the right used form-factor to determine which kind of screen the user is using.
