I have a blog and forum on my site, the blog is public and the forum is behind a member page, only accessible to paid plan holders.
Previously permissions were simple, once a member paid for a plan, they had immediate access.
Recently (yesterday) I have 2 new customers sign up and when they click to enter the forum (which has and should be instant) it shows the category page, when they click to enter a category it shows them the following screen, so I logged in as the user and found I had to select make profile public, then go back to the forum and select, join the community.
I also have join the community selected by default on member sign up.
There seems to be a glitch, they can access category page but not sub categories or posts, but permission settings should and have in the past allowed it.
Also previously, in profile the user could select the join community option beside their avatar, this has now gone.
Are these changes permanent or a glitch ?
Our FAQ’s and user log ins were based on the simple and immediate access to the forum behind a member/paid plan setting, this is a bit clunky now.
