Request: Support More Payment Providers in India

I’ve worked with many client sites. But whenever I work with Indian clients, 90% prefer WordPress. The main reason is the payment provider supported by Wix. They chose Wix over WordPress because Wix was easy to use and required no builders like Divi and Elementor. I try to convince my Indian clients that I can integrate using API or embed using HTML Component, But mostly they will reject it.
Wix India has only two options PayU(only debit and credit card), Razorpay(All payment methods are supported). But, I’ve seen that Wix USA has more payment providers.

I think this client will also migrate to Wordpress or Shopify.

Wix needs to research this.
India’s most used payment method is the Unified Payments Interface(UPI) which has 200 million monthly active users also growing day by day. Not only in India, but it is used by countries like Bhutan, Malaysia, Singapore and UAE.
Currently, Wix supports Razorpay now. But Wix should also consider Stripe India and Paytm.

Yes, What Ajeeth told is a practical issue, I also faced that. Now, Ecwid app has numerous payment options for India and it is also integratable with WIX; But We have to pay for that subscriptions also!! Better, WIX has to add more payment providers for India
