AI-powered alt text is here! Generate it with the Wix Studio Accessibility Wizard
We recently rolled out the Wix Studio Accessibility Wizard for all Studio creators, and now added the option to generate alt text for images in bulk, or image by image with AI 
Here’s what you can do:
- Scan your site with one click - directly from the editor panel
- Detect and fix issues like color contrast and heading structure
- Keep track of what’s been fixed and manage resolved items effortlessly
- Manually manage and edit images’ alt text… and now with AI

Add immersive WebGL effects to media background
WebGL effects are now available in the Wix Studio Editor - giving you a new way to breathe life into your designs without code.
Choose from presets like Liquify, Slitscan and more that can all be applied to videos and images in section backgrounds. Intuitively customize the properties of each effect and decide how they’ll be triggered - automatically, by scrolling, or by cursor.

A new Building Apps Channel in Discord
As our community continues to grow, we’ve recently made changes to our developer channels in the Wix Studio Discord to better support our app builders.
Here’s what’s new:
- The existing
building-appschannel remains open under the new namebuilding-apps-chat - The new
building-appschannel uses Discord’s forum channel and is the primary space for app devs to discuss, support and, share knowledge and feedback - The App Dev Rel team are around to get involved where needed
- The dedicated
apps-with-clichannel is being archived, and new CLI discussions should be started in thebuilding-appschannel

Apple in-app subscription purchases now available
Users can now pay for subscriptions on Wix Mobile Apps using Apple’s In-App Purchase.With recurring purchases enabled, your clients can offer customers a seamless subscription sign-up process, making it smoother than ever to pay for memberships and ongoing services in-app.
This is an upgrade from the former one-time purchase model and a feature that has been frequently requested by Wix Studio users.
