I know that Wix is working on custom interactions for Editor X, but the description on the Coming Soon page did not mention anything about scroll interactions… Being able to make animations and other elements react to the user’s scroll position will provide an entirely way to engage the end users…

Popular use cases include Progress Bars on Blog pages (shows how much of an article you have completed reading), being able to create parallax motion effects on any element, ability to recreate popular effects like the ones used on Apple’s website… etc. etc. The possibilities are just endless. Please do add this feature to the custom interactions.

I second this. Rather than create a separate post, I’ll expand on your suggestion. It would be great if we could have scrolling that snaps to the next section/anchor point. So, when you scroll up or down it takes you right to the next section. This has long been suggested in the velo forums, but Editor X might finally bring this to fruition.

And yes, it’s possible to do this using Velo, but the results aren’t particularly pleasing.

Totally agree on above, this would level-up the UX-possibilities a lot and add potential to all websites. Also, I would like to add ‘‘sideways’’, or horizontal-scrolling.

Yeah! They have a ‘scroll snap’ feature for layouters but that works horizontally. I believe you are trying to say the feature like the one in the Tesla website ( www.tesla.com ) right? It’s pretty cool!

hey, what sort of interactions are you interested in at this point?
we can offer:
adding scroll effects to elements also you can add Parallax or Reveal scrolling behavior to the image and use click and hover interactions beta for example

I’m interested in Scroll interactions where you can move an element based on scrolling the page (ie Webflow), video on scroll - where you can scroll through a video/animation sequence - (like lottie player interactions). Also setting video to play at certain points when you scroll to that area.

The new feature you mentioned would be good but when is it going to be available to use?
